THE TEMPLE OF ISIS,
Universal and Spiritual,
Virginia City, Nevada, USA
On the Sacred Feast of Beltane, May 1, 1988, we began
“The Mystical Fellowship of Our Lord and Lady” here
in Virginia City, Nevada--later Registered in Nevada.
We were an “eclectic” Temple of Spiritual Mystics,
practicing the Ancient Mysteries as found Universally,
and the FIRST Public Work of this kind in this Region.
Since Candlemas (Feb) of 1995, this Temple was Divinely
Directed to align more closely with the Egyptian Mysteries
and to Honour the Universal/Egyptian Goddess ISIS as
our Patroness--and progressively “build” a Temple for Her.
This was continued August 9, 1995 with the Celebration
of The Adoration of ISIS, and March 21, 1996 with the
Celebration of The Feast of ISIS. Beltane, May 1, 1996
our Temple was Officially Changed to “The Temple of Isis."
When regular weekly Services resumed August 17, 1996
this Temple had been thoroughly
cleansed, purified, remodeled, redecorated,
and rededicated to the Mother Goddess ISIS.
>> We have remodeled Her Temple three times since then. <<
Finally on Yule, December 21-22, 1999, this Temple of Isis
was granted a Corporate Charter by the Secretary of State
(of Nevada) as a Non-Profit Religious Organization.
Our Little Temple of ISIS in Virginia City continues
DAILY as a Sacred Place of Reflection, Inspiration,
Prayer, Spiritual Healing, and Communion with ISIS!
